Disciplining and Equipping Pastors and Leaders of surrounding churches in leadership Conferences, will disciple and train leaders to guide new converts starting house churches in its fullest expressions of the ‘church’, ultimately, to reach and influence others in the Christian community.
Finding effective ways to take care of the harvest (New Christians) was a real concern with my preparations for crusades & conferences. I felt that house churches could be a tremendous help in taking care of the rapidly increasing converts.
The importance of house churches was birthed in my spirit. This emphasized the fact that resources for the harvest is in the harvest, i.e. the Pastors and Leaders that the church needs are among the converts. He said to his disciples, “The harvest is so great, but the workers are so few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest: ask Him to send out more workers for his fields.” (Matt. 9:37 - 38).
Women too, would be encouraged to start house churches. This fresh approach within there cultural settings would see the New Covenant in its working with widows and orphans needs being met. Women’s conference would be imperative in ministering.
